Foster collaboration across internal project teams and delivery partners

Play a leading role in developing the growth of nuclear sovereign skills in Australia, working closely with other members of our Global nuclear practice (inclusive of upskilling).
Deliver complex project scopes on schedule, within budget, and to high quality standards in a heavily regulated Defence / Nuclear environment.
Provide mentorship to staff seeking to develop their knowledge and experience in delivery of major infrastructure projects.
Ensure compliance with Defence and regulatory nuclear safety requirements.
Proactively manage issues, drive decision making, and lead resolution pathways
Lead engineering governance and assurance for nuclear systems and infrastructure. Manage technical teams across mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering disciplines.

Degree in Project Management or Engineering
Experience in civil or naval nuclear programs, radiopharmaceuticals, oil and gas or Rail (applicants from other high-hazard industries will be considered)
Knowledge of Defence safety case requirements and regulatory frameworks.
Eligible for relevant AU/UK/US country Security Clearances (Australia, UK and USA).
Ability to demonstrate successful delivery of major infrastructure programmes throughout the whole project lifecycle (Master planning through design and construction to handover)
10+ years of experience leading Defence and Nuclear project delivery in the fields of building services, civil or maritime or similar complex projects and programs. .
Chartered Engineer or Project Manager (preferred but not essential)
Proven leadership in complex defence or nuclear engineering environments.
Have an understanding of nuclear safety cases and/or a heavily regulated industry (e.g Oil and Gas, Rail or Pharmaceuticals).
