Graduate or Diploma in Telecommunications/Electrical Engineering. Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or similar qualifications are a plus.
Good understanding and working knowledge of SDH, DWDM/submarine cable system operations, Ethernet technologies, and structured cabling are a plus.
Prior experience in Submarine Cable Landing Station, NOC environment and/or optical transmission is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of submarine cable systems, networking principles, and telecommunications technologies.
Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and coordinate with external partners.
Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose, communicate, and resolve complex network and landing station issues efficiently.
Meticulous in monitoring and documenting network and landing station events and actions.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, especially during high-stress situations.
Familiarity with network and landing station monitoring tools, protocols, and technologies used in NOC and CLS environments.
Capacity to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment and handle shifting priorities.
3-5 years of experience with a telecommunication service provider or a major transmission equipment vendor.
Understand network infrastructure and coordinate maintenance.
