What you would be doing

You will work closely with managers, staff and external partners to identify risks, drive improvement and embed a positive, preventative approach to safety and wellbeing.

As a key member of our team, you'll provide expert advice, guidance, and hands-on support to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, while promoting initiatives that enhance employee wellbeing.

  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and investigations to ensure legal and internal compliance
  • Monitor and report on safety performance, identifying trends and recommending improvements
  • Support wellbeing programmes and initiatives that foster a supportive workplace culture
  • Provide expert advice to all levels of the organisation on H&S and wellbeing matters
  • Develop, implement, and review Health & Safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments
  • Deliver engaging training and toolbox talks on H&S and wellbeing topics

Our client is looking for an experienced Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor to join their team and champion a proactive safety culture across our organisation.

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) required; Diploma or higher qualification desirable
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset with the ability to build positive relationships
  • Strong knowledge of current H&S legislation and best practice
