Experience with in situ and ex situ methods of soil and groundwater remediation targeting a variety of constituents. In-depth experience with PFAS investigation and treatment highly preferred.
Proficiency in feasibility studies, costing, design, permitting, and construction as it relates to contaminant remediation or industrial wastewater treatment.
Have a strong sense of responsibility and work ethic.
Vapor intrusion, soil gas, and indoor air investigation and mitigation implementation experience preferred.
Demonstrate strong quality assurance/quality control skills to perform technical, style, and consistency reviews.
Solid technical and problem-solving skills.
Understand standards, regulations, and guidance that apply to environmental due diligence and remediation.
The preferred candidate will be team-focused and possess excellent communication and writing skills, with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment managing multiple deadlines with a variety of clients and project teams.
Exposure to environmental consulting work in other Midwest states. Licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Michigan and/or other Midwest states (or ability to become licensed) is highly preferred.
B.S. in environmental, civil, or chemical engineering. M.S. degree highly preferred.
Prioritize safety and have working knowledge of industry health and safety practices.
Manage time effectively and balance multiple fast-paced project assignments.
Valid driver’s license with 40-hr HAZWOPER certification and an up-to-date 8-hr annual refresher course. 10-hr Construction certification is a plus.
Demonstrate excellence and efficiency in writing, communication, data analysis, professional judgment, and knowledge of scientific principles.
Minimum 8 years of environmental consulting and/or professional experience with a focus in wastewater treatment system evaluations/design/permitting and contaminant investigation and/or remediation.
Are conversant with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Project.
Understanding of solid waste rules and monitoring requirements, including RCRA and the Coal Combustion Residual (CCR) rule is a plus.
