Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - Building Services (MEP)

Description

• You will lead the daytoday technical delivery of mechanical design services on multidisciplinary building projects. You will oversee the production of highquality design deliverables, including specifications, drawings, and schedules.
• You will support the commercial success of your projects through timely invoicing, WIP management, and workload/resource planning.
• You will mentor junior team members, including graduates and apprentices, and play a key role in their career development.

Requirements

• Chartered status or working towards it.
• Proven experience as a Senior Mechanical Engineer in the UK, ideally with a track record of delivering both mechanical and M&E solutions across varied building sectors.
• A collaborative mindset and experience working closely with architects and multidisciplinary teams.
• A relevant qualification (HNC, HND, Bachelors or Masters) in mechanical engineering or building services.
• Familiarity with BIM processes and tools including Revit.
