Develop strong relationships with Sydney Water peers and the Confluence Water Procurement and Project Teams.
Manage the subcontracts issued in response to the Work Orders released under the Head Contract to ensure the subcontractors are contractually compliant.
Manage all subcontract and Head Contract payment claims and payment schedules in accordance with the Security of Payments Act.
Provide commercial leadership and advice on disputes and other various contractual matters.
Train Project Team members on their responsibilities and obligations under the Head Contract and subcontracts, including variation control, approvals and delay claims management.
Manage all Head Contract Work Order and subcontract variations and EOTs to a conclusion.
Support Procurement in effectively planning and managing tender packages being issued to market and the assessment of tender responses and execution of subcontracts and work packages.
Improve practices and processes continuously through innovative ideas.
Assist Project Teams with implementation of the project procurement strategy and the awarding of work to its subcontractors and suppliers.
Understand and manage Confluence Water's obligations and entitlements under the Head Contract.
