- Develop and enforce VDC standards, workflows, and best practices.
- Lead the mechanical VDC team in developing coordinated 3D models for HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.
- Participate in preconstruction planning, design reviews, and coordination meetings.
- Manage the production of shop drawings, spool drawings, and layout files for field installation and prefabrication.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure constructible and accurate models.
- Train and mentor junior VDC staff and modelers.
- Oversee clash detection and resolution using Navisworks or similar tools.
- Support field teams with layout, installation, and fabrication guidance.
- Maintain documentation and version control of models throughout the project lifecycle.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications.
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical construction and VDC/BIM coordination.
