  • Administer contracts through project lifecycle, managing change orders, claims, and disputes during construction.
  • Monitor market trends, pricing, lead times, and supply chain risks; provide insights to support project budgeting and investment cases.
  • Establish procurement processes and templates fit-for-purpose in a lean environment without a centralized supply chain department.
  • Maintain and leverage supplier networks to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key OEMs, EPC contractors, and development-stage service providers (engineering, permitting, and construction).
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies for equipment, materials, and services required during development and construction phases.
  • Support M&A and greenfield development activities by assessing supply chain considerations, risks, and opportunities.
  • Provide cost and commercial input into project development, financial models, and investment approvals.
  • Negotiate and execute contracts for EPC, equipment supply, and construction service agreements, in collaboration with BluEarth's legal team.
  • Partner with Development and Construction teams to align procurement timelines with project schedules.
  • Lead competitive sourcing processes for major capital equipment (e.g., wind turbines, modules, inverters, BESS, balance-of-plant).
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Foreign Entity of Concern (FEOC) requirements, forced labour laws and applicable tariff policies
  • Uphold all aspects of BluEarth’s Environmental, Health, & Safety policies, practices, and programs.

  • Highly flexible and able to quickly adapt to changing priorities.
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to translate market insights into actionable commercial strategies and initiatives to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Familiarity with FEOC requirements, forced labour laws and applicable tariff policies
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Able to commit to a flexible work schedule that often involves significant time outside of typical work times.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and people skills, with the ability to motivate teams, build relationships, and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience supporting both Canada and U.S. project development and construction strongly preferred.
  • In depth understanding of renewable energy industry.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive procurement experience, with at least 5 years in renewable energy, BESS, utilities, or major infrastructure.
  • Comfortable leading discussions and building rapport with executive-level stakeholders
  • Exercises independent judgement and discretion in performing tasks.
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field. A professional designation (e.g., SCMP, CPSM, PMP) is an asset.
  • Able to earn the trust of others.
  • Demonstrated ability to both formulate and execute strategy.
  • Strong work ethic and high integrity.
  • Ability to travel within the United States, Canada, and Internationally.
  • Proven track record negotiating and executing large, complex equipment supply and EPC contracts.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Comfort in presentations to executive leadership
