The Maintenance Manager works with the Community Manager and Assistant Manager to increase net operating income by safely maintaining the interior and exterior of the property to RPM standards while staying within the approved budget. Prompt, safe, and efficient repairs contribute to resident retention.
The ideal candidate has a high‑school diploma or GED, at least two years of multifamily maintenance experience (or equivalent training), and a minimum of one year in a supervisory role. EPA certification is required, CPO is preferred, and a valid driver’s license is mandatory. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project‑management tools is expected.
The role requires the ability to walk, stand, climb stairs or ladders, and access various property areas. Employees must be capable of lifting up to 50 lb, using power tools, and operating computers. Vision, hearing, and dexterity are essential for inspections, reading schematics, and responding to alarms.
The position is site‑based, with significant time spent outdoors and exposure to the elements, as well as occasional work in confined spaces, heights, or hazardous areas. Employment is contingent upon a successful background check and a valid driver’s license.
