The Project Designer will consult with clients to define functional and spatial requirements, prepare design specifications, and coordinate project personnel to maintain schedule and budget. Responsibilities include planning layouts, integrating engineering elements, producing drawings and contract documents, representing the client during bid processes, administering contracts, conducting site observations, and performing final quality assurance reviews while adhering to safety standards.
Key skills required are a solid understanding of building design and construction methods, the ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings, strong written communication for reports and correspondence, and effective presentation abilities. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and the Microsoft Office suite is essential.
