R&D Intern

Description

• Contribute to R&D projects through material testing, participation in trial runs, supporting new material technology and developments while maintaining a safety-conscious approach
• Collaborate with teams across Product Development, Tool & Die, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and other functional areas to achieve shared goals
• Support the R&D team to generate creative ideas, and provide consistent contributions to support long-term objectives
• Engage in various fun activities throughout the year like bowling and corn-hole tournaments, food cook-offs, ice cream truck visits, and more!

Requirements

• Proven understanding of laboratory protocols
• Sophomore or Junior status pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Coating & Polymeric Materials, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
• Familiarity with gathering and analyzing data through coursework
• Gain proficiency in using testing equipment, interpreting data, and creating protocols for assigned technical areas
