Born in Brisbane in 1983 as Watkins Pacific, the firm grew steadily across Australia through strategic acquisitions before joining the Belgian-French BESIX Group in 2018.
Its project portfolio spans iconic landmarks—from Australia’s tallest diagrid building and cable‑stay pedestrian bridges to stadiums, hospitals and marine infrastructure.
With in‑house engineering teams in Brisbane, Brussels and Dubai, it tackles technically complex builds like marine works, water treatment plants and live hospital campuses.
It blends private‑company agility with global backing—enabling swift decisions, cost‑effective outcomes and world‑class standards inherited from BESIX’s international projects like the Burj Khalifa.
