Here’s how a HSE Coordinator for PCL Industrial Services, Inc. within Arizona Industrial contributes to our team: the role supports implementation of HSE plans, training, hazard identification tools, inspections, audits and collaboration with trade partners to maintain safety and environmental standards.

• Assist with implementation of project or facility HSE plans and regulatory requirements
• Conduct project‑specific training as assigned
• Provide project data to develop trends and action plans
• Develop and implement Hazard ID tools such as CHA and JHA
• Implement Frontline Work Planning and follow up for completeness
• Conduct and document project HSE inspections
• Complete I‑CAB assessment reports when necessary
• Identify and monitor site personal protective equipment
• Support emergency response plan implementation
• Implement and monitor environmental plans
• Participate in internal and external audits
• Review and provide input on trade partners’ HSE documentation
• Audit trade partners’ safety performance
• Verify equipment and tool inspections are performed and documented

Requirements

Qualifications for the position include a relevant degree or certification, progress toward a safety designation, foundational knowledge of construction and OH&S regulations, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and related systems.

• Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
• Working toward safety designation such as NCSO, CHST, or OSHA 30‑hour Construction Card
• Basic knowledge of construction processes, engineering drawings and scheduling
• Basic knowledge of applicable OH&S, environmental and workers’ compensation regulations
• Ability to learn correct implementation of HSE processes
• Planning, organization and time‑management skills to prioritize tasks
• Ability to identify and resolve conflicts with craft workers
• Proven communication and presentation skills
• Ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
• Knowledge of incident investigation or event‑learning models
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other applicable systems
