Creating and maintaining the highest standards of 5S’s housekeeping and environmental management
Quality control: Verifying the final dimensions of a pattern using templates, calipers, and other tools to ensure it meets specifications.
Maintenance: Maintaining and repairing tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
Laying out and measuring: Marking out the precise dimensions of patterns on stock material using measurement and layout tools.
Assembly: Joining pieces together using fasteners, glue, and dowels to create the complete pattern.
Assist in the development of SSOP’s and Risk Assessments
Assist with production when required
Using machinery: Operating machinery, in addition to using traditional woodworking tools.
Interpreting plans: Reading b sketches, and CAD data to determine the specifications for patterns.
Constructing patterns: Building physical patterns and molds from materials like wood, often with adjustments for shrinkage or draft.
Adhering to health & safety, quality and environmental systems
Collaboration: Liaising with customers, designers, and other contractors to ensure the pattern meets project requirements.

Mathematical skills: Strong understanding of arithmetic, geometry, and measurement.
Woodworking expertise: Proficiency with a variety of hand and power tools,
