What you would be doing

Assemble moderately complex electrical components with numerous pieces and installation steps.
Maintain accurate records of tasks performed, deviations, and any quality concerns.
Cut, strip, crimp, and label wires according to schematics and assembly instructions.
Verify quality standards via a quality assurance checklist.
Inspect electronic components and assemblies to ensure correct component selection, placement, and wiring, according to quality standards.
Utilize the Oracle ERP and other internal systems to close jobs and request material replenishment.
Mount electrical components while bending conduit and routing and securing cables neatly within assemblies.
Mentor less experienced team members in the completion of their work to help their professional growth.
Use an overhead crane, ladders, and other material handling equipment to move and position materials for assembly.
Adhere strictly to safety protocols while handling tools, equipment, and materials. Report any safety hazards promptly.

Ability to understand basic blueprints, BOLs, and electrical schematics.
Read and understand complex blueprints/schematics and Bills of Materials (BOLs).
Ability to train and mentor less-experienced team members.
High proficiency in performing precise and delicate tasks using hands and fingers. Able to manipulate small objects, operate tools, and handle intricate equipment effectively.
Good communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to articulate information efficiently and effectively to team members in a variety of production support departments.
Sound attention to detail, with the ability to determine accurate order quantities consistently.
Ability and willingness to follow Health, Safety & Environment procedures accurately, reporting concerns promptly to the safety action team.
Basic computer skills with the ability to review and respond to requests via internal applications.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement manufacturing principles.
Good interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to understand and complete requests given by team member inside and outside of the department.
Basic math skills with the ability to calculate measurements and weights.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measurement tools.
Ability to work independently and meet requirements of assigned materials requests.
2-3 years of experience in an electrical assembly role in a manufacturing environment.
