Field Technician

Description

• Conduct field density testing of soil utility backfill, mass grading, and paving subgrade.
• Perform proof‑rolling observations and field concrete sampling/testing.
• Inspect construction sites and conduct soils and materials testing.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have soils field testing experience and a current radiation user safety certificate. Experience with field testing of concrete using a current ACI Field I certification, as well as asphalt experience, is preferred.

Applicants should possess excellent mathematical, verbal, and written communication skills, a positive attitude, strong organizational abilities, and a solid work ethic. A current, valid driver’s license is required.

• Hold a current radiation user safety certificate.

• Have asphalt testing experience (preferred).
• Demonstrate strong mathematical and communication skills.
• Maintain a current valid driver’s license.
