What you would be doing

You’ll be part of a collaborative HS&E team partnering with, and supporting operational, engineering, marine, and security functions. You’ll help embed a strong safety culture, ensure legal and internal compliance, and drive continuous improvement across our sites.
- Facilitate HS&E Committees and engagement campaigns.
- Conduct audits, safety conversations, and inspections, ensuring corrective actions are tracked and completed.
- Stay up to date with legislation and best practices.
- Assist with incident investigations and reporting.
- Monitor and analyse HS&E performance data and metrics.
- Support implementation of ABP’s HS&E strategy, standards, and systems.
- Provide professional HS&E advice, coaching, and support across regional operations.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and influence across all levels.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Confident using IT systems and e-learning platforms.
- Solid understanding of HS&E legislation.
- Port or Heavy Industry experience
- NEBOSH General Essential - NEBOSH Diploma Desirable.
