

Specialty manufacturer and supplier of storefront, architectural metals and building products for retail and commercial construction.
We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our small team as Assistant Controller. Construction and or manufacturing experience preferred but not required. Our Assistant Controller will be comfortable working hands-on in different areas of accounting, operations and HR such as payroll, purchasing (including obtaining price quotes, writing purchase orders, and receipt of goods properly), managing and maintaining inventory quantities by working with AP, production, shipping and receiving teams, etc. You could also assist with other areas of accounting and operations including but not limited to AP, AR, general accounting, general financial reporting, hr, etc. Very strong computer experience is absolutely required, including strong excel skills. Experience with Sage 100 and ADP a plus but not required.
Ability to meet tight deadlines.
Extensive amount of professional accounting/finance experience.
Prior experience in Manufacturing and/or Construction strongly preferred, but not required.
Comfortable in a small team environment.
Experience with general payroll / general hr a plus.
Advanced computer skills and strong proficiency in Excel is an absolute must, as well strong overall computer skills.
Willingness to be very hands on daily in all aspects of accounting and general operations.
