Asset Management Field Repair Leader
Ge Vernova
Energy tech co. that designs, builds, services gas, nuclear, hydro, steam & wind power systems globally.
Provides operational leadership for New Engine Reconfiguration and Level 2 Lease Repairs businesses in the Asset Management field, managing end-to-end processes and field service work.
Coordinate with the lease Product manager and maintenance manager to schedule and plan repairs that align with dispatch dates.
Interface with Field Core to provide forecast, daily management of work and quality inspections.
Plan and manage all global Level 2 Lease repairs.
Support the Quality issue resolution process and own cases for L2 maintenance and reconfigurations.
Create a quote with lead time, cost and expected turn around time to complete the conversion.
Track progress and report to customer on a weekly basis.
Order and Track material to support the repair works.
Work with supply chain to expedite material shipment and solution challenged material as necessary.
Create the bill of material required to convert the engine.
Implement and maintain strategy for Level 2 service provider controls including vendor metrics and scorecard.
Perform cost reviews and own the billing process.
Manage quote requests for New Engine Reconfigurations, ensuring a timely and accurate quote back to the requestor within 3 days.
Be accountable for the operating plan for the value stream.
Manage the end to end processes for field service work related to lease engines and new/used engine reconfigurations.
Lead the engine preservation strategy with Field Core.
Receive customers PO and coordinate the ordering of materials, scheduling with Field Service etc.
Perform analysis of the configuration differences between the as shipped and the requested configuration using GEA digital thread tool.
Own continuous improvement efforts for the value stream and support other areas of Asset Management as needed.
Partner with Lease Maintenance Manager to troubleshoot and repair field issues associated with Asset Management lease engines.

Demonstrated business acumen and communication skills
Familiar with General Electric LM series aeroderivative gas turbines.
Contract management experience
Bachelor's degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering with at least 3-5 years of experience in aeroderivative services or related field or Associates Degree with at least 5-7 years of experience in aeroderivative services or related field or HS/GED with 8-10 years of experience in aeroderivative field services or equivalent.
Customer focused with strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
Working knowledge of forecasting, scheduling, cost management, and configuration management
Ability to travel as needed to support level 2 activities
Knowledge of logistics processes and documents required to move cargo and clear customs
High energy level with proven ability to lead change
Working knowledge of the engineering BOM structure for gas turbine engines
Experience with engine overhaul and repair processes
