Communicate and coordinate project activities with customer representatives, project teams, and management, and others as needed.
Assign projects to engineering teams based on project requirements, schedule, and availability of personnel.

Extensive knowledge and understanding of engineering standards including but not limited to NESC, GO 95, IEEE, ANSI and ASTM that apply to transmission design.
Experience in managing the efforts of a design team that includes multiple discipline engineers, designers and drafters
Strong knowledge of common engineering application software like PLS-CADD, PLS-Tower, PLS-Pole, Sag10, LPILE, FAD and other applicable software as required.
Ability to qualify individuals to perform QA/QC per the Dashiell process.
Knowledge and understanding of transmission engineering, including routing, conductor selection, lattice tower analysis, structure determination, plan and profile development, material takeoffs, etc.
Travel out of town for short periods of time as required by projects and assignments.
Knowledge of common word processing, spreadsheet, and e-mail software
Minimum of 10 years of experience in hands on design work; extensive knowledge and understanding of high voltage transmission lines
