The PSA will provide classified security support to a government customer stationed at NAS Patuxent River, MD, implementing security practices and procedures in accordance with all applicable policies and guidelines.
- Review and recommend improvements for SOPs, OPSEC plans, test plans, and facility checklists.
- Maintain electronic and hard‑copy facility folders with accreditation, approvals, and compliance documents.
- Maintain personnel folders with access requests, training records, and indoctrination agreements.
- Support site assist visits and conduct documented self‑inspections; provide assistance during physical inspections.
- Deliver post‑inspection feedback and recommendations to the customer.
- Conduct security inquiries, draft preliminary reports, and propose corrective actions.
- Develop strategies to reduce recurring security incidents.
- Design and deliver a comprehensive SETA program, including briefings and debriefings.
- Ensure all personnel receive timely security training.
- Manage visitor control and badging for Unclassified, Collateral, SAP, and SCI visits.
- Process visit notifications, verify clearance information, and handle badge issuance and destruction.
- Escort un‑cleared visitors according to protocol.
- Prepare and approve program office courier credentials.
- Perform Top Secret Control Officer duties, including inventories of classified material.
- Create and execute security test plans, OPSEC plans, transportation and destruction plans for tests and demonstrations.
- Provide on‑site security support during test and demonstration events.
- Assess, develop, and implement security policies to protect classified information.
- Serve as backup for Document Control Officer or Security Administrative Assistant as needed.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Security Assistant to support comprehensive security operations for classified programs, managing complex documentation, conducting compliance activities, and maintaining stringent security protocols across multiple domains.
Candidates must be U.S. citizens with a final DoD Top Secret clearance (SSBI, SBPR, PPR, T5, or T5R) obtained within the last six years, possess a High School diploma (or equivalent), and obtain the CDSE Security Fundamentals Professional Certification within two years of hire. Four years of DoD security experience, including at least two years in a specialized classified environment, knowledge of security manuals such as EO 13526 and NISPOM, and proficiency in electronic and physical recordkeeping are required; prior inspection or security support experience is preferred.
