The primary goal is to create a living client‑summary document that captures a customer’s project history, original energy use, achieved savings, results, and lessons learned. This summary will serve as a powerful business development tool and will be updated throughout future engagements.
Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited university in Engineering, Sustainability, or a related major at any undergraduate level and have reliable daily transportation. Required traits include punctuality, a positive attitude, initiative, the ability to work independently with supervision, safety consciousness, strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and the capacity to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Awareness of the industry and competitors is also essential.
Travel is minimal (0‑5% of time) and the work environment involves prolonged desk work, occasional climbing of stairs, and light physical activity such as moving objects up to 20 pounds. The setting is quiet, with periods of standing, kneeling, or sitting, and repetitive hand motions.
The Business Development group within Engineering Services is offering an internship. The role provides exposure to design engineering, energy engineering, audits, commissioning, and strategic planning while supporting business development activities.
