- Leading and participating in field meetings, possible oversight of subcontractors, contribute to and following safe work practices, developing/following/implementing safety plans on a day-to-day basis, recognizing hazards and documenting safety observations
- May gather and maintain specified records of scientific data for supervisor, including but not limited to environmental sampling, operations and maintenance and inspections at client sites.
- Performs a variety of tasks in support of project staff.
- Other activities may include assisting with calculations, setting up and operating equipment, inspecting equipment and installations for compliance with specifications and maintaining proper project documentation.

- HS + 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Valid US Driver’s License and as a condition of employment must pass the AECOM Motor Vehicle screening
- As a condition of employment, candidates must pass a medical screening
- Understanding of remediation technologies and design
- As a condition of employment, candidates must pass a drug screening
- Strong knowledge of groundwater, soil, sediment, surface water, and air sampling
- Experience with implementation, and operation/maintenance activities
- Experience operating and maintaining soil and groundwater remediation equipment
- Ability to work outdoors, often in inclement weather conditions
- Effective interaction with internal and external clients
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with soil and groundwater
