Oversee testing of engineering equipment as the engineering department’s representative.
Promote and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards, ensuring compliance with Occupational Safety and Health regulations.
Prepare and submit engineering documentation required by certifying authorities and production departments to meet project timelines.
Lead engineering disciplines as assigned, providing technical guidance and support to project engineers.
Develop and deliver technical documentation such as cable block diagrams, electrical equipment layouts, material and equipment specifications, bills of materials, cable schedules, and termination drawings.
Review and verify supplier and subcontractor design deliverables for accuracy and compliance.
Perform and validate engineering design calculations to meet contractual specifications.
Represent the engineering department in technical meetings and client discussions.
Ensure adherence to all Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality (HSEQ) policies.
Manage interdisciplinary coordination and subcontractor activities to ensure smooth project execution.
Provide technical support throughout the construction process of marine and offshore vessels.
Participate in developing and implementing safe work practices, environmental controls, and emergency procedures.
Collaborate within a 3D design modeling environment alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Ensure strict compliance with Marine Classification Society rules and relevant industry codes.
Coordinate with vendors, regulatory bodies, customer representatives, and production teams, including shipboard visits when necessary.

Solid theoretical and practical knowledge of Ship Repair, Major Offshore, and Conversion projects.
Minimum 3 years of experience in the Marine and/or Offshore industry.
Familiarity with the rules and regulations of leading Classification Societies and Regulatory Authorities.
Strong understanding of a wide range of engineering practices related to Marine and Offshore vessels.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or other related technical disciplines will be considered.
