Billing and Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description

The role supports client invoicing and credit control, ensuring billing accuracy and effective credit management.

• Drive accurate billing and invoicing processes, ensure KPI compliance and maintain precise customer account data.
• Manage credit control by performing timely credit checks and proactively reducing outstanding debts.
• Supervise month‑end close activities, including journals, reconciliations and financial reporting, delivering accurate actuals and forecasts.
• Support audits and tax compliance through robust documentation and adherence to statutory requirements.
• Champion system enhancements and process improvements to optimise efficiency and accuracy.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships across finance and project teams.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives and ad‑hoc projects that add value to the business.

• Hold a relevant degree qualification.
• Possess proven experience in finance or a similar role.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Be proficient in MS Office with knowledge of accounting principles.
• Detail‑focused with an understanding of transactional accounting and standards.
• Have experience working in the Middle East.
