The Associate, Collision Reconstruction will work under a senior P.Eng., consulting with clients, conducting vehicle and site examinations, testing and analysis, and preparing clear, concise engineering reports. The role emphasizes skill development, collaboration with senior and intermediate associates, and contribution to the firm’s strategic goals.
- Partner with senior and intermediate associates to perform post‑collision vehicle and site examinations.
- Research vehicle mechanisms, components and systems to determine causes of failure.
- Analyze dynamics of vehicle systems, road, environmental and human factors in accidents.
- Test vehicle operation and conduct collision simulations.
- Communicate investigation findings clearly to colleagues and clients.
- Prepare technical drawings, simulations, and calculations from field data.
- Draft technical reports based on investigations in collaboration with senior staff.
- Deliver high‑quality reports on time and within budget per client scope.
- Participate in industry events and seminars.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (a post‑graduate degree is a plus) and has 1‑3 years of experience in an engineering or scientific consulting environment, preferably with automotive exposure. Required experience includes troubleshooting, fault‑finding, or field technical support, a valid driver’s licence, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
Key competencies include project management and leadership, strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and multitask. The candidate should be self‑motivated, able to work independently and in teams, quick to learn new computer applications, and proficient with the MS Office suite.
