Ensure parts are stored in correct bins and properly located on benches according to standard layouts and 5S requirements
Assist with quality control activities for all products within the assigned area
Establish and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of the organization
Maintain necessary materials such as packing supplies and material handling equipment
Champion an inclusive work environment by empowering others and valuing diverse backgrounds and experiences
Order parts for the assigned area by completing part requisition forms according to the designated ordering schedule
Maintain accountability for both team production output and individual performance
Assist with training new employees and cross-training team members within the area of responsibility
Audit workbenches daily to ensure proper reset at the end of each shift, including correct placement of parts and tools and verification that all tools and fixtures are in good working order
Monitor tool flow by work type within the assigned area, maintaining accurate hour-by-hour production charts and reporting to the manager at agreed intervals
Practice servant leadership by putting the needs of others first and valuing diverse perspectives
Enter production data into Access systems for TapeTech Production or Ames, as required
Support qualification and scrapping of tools as required for Ames production
Continuously identify, generate, and implement process improvements
Document parts defects and overages or shortages using appropriate forms and attach parts as required for management review
Immediately notify the manager of any tools or fixtures that are not functioning properly
