The Civil Inspector will supervise and inspect civil construction activities for Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) projects under Dubai Municipality, ensuring all civil works—including underground utilities, tanks, structures, and pipelines—comply with approved designs, specifications, and authority standards.
- Review and apply codes, standards, and project documents to STP civil works.
- Conduct daily site inspections to verify compliance with shop drawings, method statements, and specifications.
- Monitor excavation, backfilling, formwork, reinforcement, concrete placement, and finishing for STP structures.
- Verify alignments, levels, and dimensions of pipelines, chambers, manholes, and process units.
- Ensure contractor compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations and quality control procedures.
- Record and report daily manpower, equipment, and material deliveries on site.
- Supervise waterproofing, concrete curing, coating works, and other STP-specific civil components.
- Assist Resident Engineer and Assistant Resident Engineer with site instructions and contractor responses.
- Coordinate with contractors to resolve civil work issues and follow up on corrective actions.
- Prepare daily inspection reports covering observations, testing updates, progress, and safety findings.
- Support measurement checks and surveying of pipe routes, levels, and structural tolerances.
- Monitor testing, commissioning, and handover stages of civil STP works, ensuring documentation and compliance.
- Assist in reviewing and responding to RFIs and variance requests for civil components.
- Coordinate with client representatives during inspections and prepare required documentation.
- Maintain organized records of inspections, NCRs, test results, and executed works.

- Hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent technical certification.
- Minimum 7 years of civil/infrastructure inspection experience for engineering graduates.
- At least 10 years of relevant inspection experience for Diploma holders.
- Minimum 10 years of supervision experience in similar civil works for high‑school graduates.
