Description
The Occupancy Planning Professional will manage a client’s space portfolio, understand capacity, demand, and supply, and develop migration plans and sequencing for both group‑level and individual moves. This role will also establish clear communication channels, maintain strong stakeholder relationships, and deliver accurate regular and ad‑hoc reports using occupancy metrics and industry trends.
Key duties include collaborating with facilities and project managers on moves, space audits, vacancy, and change‑management projects, as well as working with construction teams on large, multi‑phase relocations. The incumbent will ensure precise reporting of space data through IWMS tools, identify proactive needs, troubleshoot deficiencies, and promote best‑practice solutions.
- Perform management and tracking of space and occupancy data sets (seat assignments, space types, architectural layouts) within relevant technologies.
- Develop space solutions by analyzing occupancy, utilisation, and space data.
- Execute tactical occupancy planning duties such as space planning, block and stack plans, and prepare options/recommendations.
- Contribute strategic planning ideas with the occupancy planning team to resolve campus/building forecasts and concerns.
- Collaborate with facilities managers and project managers on moves, space audits, occupancy, vacancy, and change‑management projects.
- Work with project and construction teams on large, multi‑phase relocations and restacks.
- Ensure accurate reporting of space information using IWMS tools and foster relationships to collect seating assignments.
- Identify proactive needs, troubleshoot deficiencies, and initiate best‑practice solutions.
- Deliver in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment with tight operational deadlines.
- Translate data into planning initiatives and data‑driven decision‑making.

- Prior experience in space/occupancy planning or MAC is preferred.
- AutoCAD and CAFM system experience highly desirable.
