Key responsibilities include managing workstream planning activities such as schedules, timelines, and milestone deliverables. The manager identifies, prioritizes, and leads continuous‑improvement initiatives using data, root‑cause analysis, and performance metrics, while driving standardization of processes, procedures, and policies to reflect industry best practices. Execution of workstream deliverables is on‑time and on‑budget, with regular status updates detailing accomplishments, issues, and risks.
The manager serves as a subject‑matter expert of operational knowledge, executing the strategic approach needed to deliver project charter, scope, and business requirements. They champion a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement across the workstream, manage process validation and use‑case testing strategies, and act as the operational representative during go‑live and post‑launch activities. Business readiness strategies are successfully executed and process changes are documented, standardized, and embedded into ongoing operations.
Leadership duties may include overseeing a qualified team of at least two full‑time employees, with authority to hire, terminate, coach, develop, promote, demote, and performance‑manage team members. The manager provides feedback and coaching to workstream resources to ensure high performance and alignment with project goals.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience and at least seven years of relevant expertise. Candidates must demonstrate strong decision‑making abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to perform efficiently under stringent deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and solid computer skills are also required.
Preferred qualifications encompass experience with project management or large‑scale organizing and planning, leading process‑improvement or transformation initiatives, and familiarity with continuous‑improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or similar approaches.
The salary range for this role is $113,500 to $170,300, reflecting factors such as skills, knowledge, and experience.
