- Responsibility and supervision of housekeepers and patient services assistants daily. Ensuring full cover is provided regarding duty rosters and allocation of work to ensure effective completion of duties in line with the performance standards.
- Supervision and control of standards of service delivered to the Trust at ward/departmental level which will include the delivery of the cleaning, along with patient food and beverage service.
- Interface and link between ward/departmental managers and services teams in relation to reactive maintenance requests. Ensure that the staff in soft services are proactive in identifying and reporting maintenance defects etc. as part of their daily duties.

- Experience in a supervisory capacity
- Ability to work as part of a team (Essential)
- Experience of working within Hotel & Catering industry and/or Facilities Management sector (Desirable)
- Computer literate, ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Supervisory management qualification (Desirable)
- Experience of performance management of employees including appraisals
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)
- Basic Health and Safety Certificate (Desirable)
