Experience with the following software packages essential:
Must be eager to learn and develop managerial skills.
Experience in a range of sectors and building types.
FIP connection and integration.
Detailed experience in wet fire services installation, design or drafting essential. Includes design of:
Fire Hose Reels,
Detailed knowledge and application of the National Construction Code (NCC), Australian Standards, relevant design techniques and construction procedures.
Have a basic understanding of the following software packages beneficial, but not essential:
Preferred to hold a Construction Industry Work, Health and Safety White Card.
Must have good initiative to lead and develop a Fire Services team.
Must hold a C class drivers licence.
Diploma of Fire Services Design essential.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate and work with draftsmen, engineers, architects and design managers.
Industry registrations preferred (FPAA, DFT, VBA, QBCC).
Experience in dry fire services installation, design or drafting beneficial. Includes design of:
Must have good problem-solving skills.
Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Must have excellent presentation and communication skills.
Fire Extinguishers,
A minimum of 5+ years’ experience gained within a consultancy environment essential.
Ability to be in the office (St. Leonards) 5 days per week.
Must have good Client liaison skills.
