The Land Director will manage the Land Department, overseeing all land purchase activity from site identification and appraisal to planning and acquisition. You will ensure the company meets its annual land targets while maximising value and contributing to Harron’s continued success.

  • Ensure land procurement aligns with budgets and company forecasts
  • Oversee site appraisals, tender processes, and planning applications
  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-calibre staff
  • Maximise revenue generation and contribution to operating profit
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the Land team, ensuring high performance and professional development
  • Identify and secure immediate and strategic development opportunities
  • Maintain strong relationships with local authorities, agents, landowners, and developers
  • Manage projects from initial identification to acquisition and implementable planning consent
  • Ensure departmental compliance with company policies and Health & Safety regulations
  • Promote best practice, ensure corporate governance, and contribute to business strategy and growth
