• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as dressing, grooming, peri‑care, toileting, and hygiene.
• Interact with residents empathetically, showing kindness, compassion, and respect.
• Observe and report resident status and changes to the supervisor daily.
• Serve and assist residents during breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Initiate and participate in leisure activities based on the activity calendar.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for all residents.
• Perform daily housekeeping duties according to established cleaning schedules.
• Support a dignified caring atmosphere for residents, families, visitors, and staff.

Requirements

Employees must be able to read, write, and present simple information, apply common‑sense reasoning, and follow established policies, including HIPAA and emergency procedures. A high school diploma or GED is required, and one to two years of related experience or equivalent training is preferred.

The position involves regular standing, walking, reaching, and communicating, as well as occasional stooping, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lb, and exposure to blood‑borne pathogens. A safe and sanitary work environment is maintained, and reasonable accommodations are offered for individuals with disabilities.
