Quotation Specialist

Description

The Quotation Specialist role is a full-time, on-site position located in Michigan. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and preparing quotations for customers, analyzing specifications and requirements, and coordinating with vendors and internal teams to deliver accurate pricing. You will effectively manage customer inquiries, maintain updated pricing catalogs, and provide top-notch support to clients while meeting deadlines. This position is essential for ensuring effective communication and timely execution of customer quotations for successful project delivery.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a degree or relevant technical certifications are a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, data entry, and quoting/CRM software platforms.
• Previous experience in quoting, customer service, sales, or similar roles within a wholesale distribution environment is preferred.
• Detail-oriented mindset and ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining high data accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to provide effective customer service and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Plumbing, HVAC, or related industry products and the ability to quickly learn industry-specific technical information.
• Familiarity with quality assurance processes and customer satisfaction principles is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills for reviewing specifications and preparing accurate quotations.
