Description

The Associate Director will play a pivotal role in leading multidisciplinary technology projects, driving business development, and mentoring a high-performing team. Working closely with experts in digital strategy, smart cities, digital twins, and data analytics, the successful candidate will help clients realise their digital vision—from city master planning to building fit-outs.

• Promote smart building and smart city technologies, integrating them into architectural and engineering designs.
• Engage with clients to develop bespoke digital strategies and technology roadmaps.
• Represent the discipline in industry forums and contribute to thought leadership.
• Lead project delivery across the technology discipline, ensuring technical excellence and client satisfaction.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to knowledge sharing and team development.
• Manage bids, budgets, and resource allocation across multiple projects.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to shape and execute the discipline’s growth strategy.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a technology expert in the built environment, with a strong track record in ICT infrastructure delivery and digital transformation. They will be confident in leading teams and projects, and skilled in stakeholder engagement and strategic consulting.

• Proven leadership in project delivery and client engagement.
• Strong business development acumen and an existing network of industry contacts.
• Relevant industry qualifications and a commitment to professional development.
• Extensive experience in smart building technology, structured cabling, wireless networks, IoT, and passive ICT infrastructure.
• People management and mentoring experience.
