This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical Design Engineer - Substation, located in Gurgaon. The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for creating and maintaining electrical designs and schematics for AIS and GIS substations ranging from 220 kV to 765 kV, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Key tasks include developing detailed design documentation, collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting site assessments, and supporting project implementation from concept to completion.

Cad Draftsmen – Preparation of Electrical Single Line Diagram for HV / EHV Sub-stations , LT system etc. Preparation of Electrical layouts plan & Section for HV/ EHV Sub-stations.

Preparation of Erection Key Diagram, Earthing layout, Lightening Protection Layout. Preparation of foundation plan & Cable trench layout.

Hand on experience in Layout engineering , SCF , DSLP , Earthmat calculations, Cable sizing , Equipment sizing is desired.

Experience in software tools like CDEGS, ETAP , Dialux & understanding of Protection philosophies will be an addition advantage.

Sub-station Design Engineer – EHV GIS & AIS Substation relevant experience is highly preferred.

Design Engineers having experience in Roof top and ground mounted solar power plants can apply as well.

REQUISITE QUALIFICATION: Degree or Diploma in Engineering

  • Proficiency in various calculations and analysis used in Substation design and Solar Power plant.
  • Electrical Design, Design Engineering skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Expertise in Substation Primary and Secondary Engineering .
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
