- Create and maintain Interface Control Design (ICD) strategy and ICD templates.
- Validate your module.
- Support sourcing activities and generate technical solutions for current, new, and major programs.
- Initiate documents to provide engineering authority and maintain math/CAD data.
- Update required information and document progress in the Problem Resolution Tracking System.
- Coordinate with multiple suppliers and lead/manage supplier resident engineers.
- Lead the resolution of technical issues.
- Perform complex design analysis.
- Generate and maintain global subsystem/component technical specifications templates.
- Develop and maintain commodity-specific documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering functions, suppliers, plant personnel, and others to implement cost reduction, methods, and product improvements.

- Minimum of 2 years of automotive product experience, with a strong preference for control modules/sensors/HW/SW.
- DFSS Certification.
- Experience with automated driving sensors (Cameras, Lidars, Radars, Ultrasonic Sensors) is a plus.
- Experience in manufacturing and vehicle launch.
- Understanding of hardware design and failure modes in electronic modules.
- High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult.
- Experience in software verification/validation processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Math, or Computer Science.
- Knowledge of vehicle serial data communications.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience in the design/development/integration of safety-critical systems/components.
- Knowledge of Team Center Systems Engineering and/or IBM DOORS requirements management tools is a plus.
- Experience with electronic validation.
- Proficiency in writing and comprehending software/hardware requirements.
