- Deliver a defined capstone project with assistance from senior engineers, scientists, planners, and other professionals.
- Support implementation of remedial investigations, feasibility studies, and design evaluations.
- Conduct research and analysis on prospective clients, trends, strategies, and industries.
- Assist with field planning, data analysis, and report writing.
- Assist with research and data entry for new business initiatives.
- Partner to complete field sampling activities in‑water and on land, preparing documentation and figures for deliverables.
- Conduct field activities, including collection of sediment, soil, water, air, waste, or biota samples.
- Update documents, calendars, schedules, and weekly status reports.

- Current undergraduate or graduate students majoring in engineering, environmental sciences, planning & restoration, or technology & innovation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Project management mindset to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Complete OSHA HAZWOPER training as required.
Benefits
Anchor QEA offers a paid internship in environmental consulting, with a compensation of $22 per hour. The role spans practice areas such as engineering, planning and restoration, environmental services, landscape architecture, and geospatial science.
Interns will rotate between office work and fieldwork, gaining hands‑on experience and exposure to multiple service lines. They will work alongside senior and principal professionals, receiving mentorship while contributing to real projects.
