Description

• Researching new design processes, building legislation and technology.
• Assisting with technical and professional reports and associated advice.
• Contributing to meetings and document preparation.
• Visiting sites pre-contract and during construction phase.
• After a period of probation and as your confidence grows begin to operate more autonomously providing strategic advice allied to your professional background.
• Preparing applications for approval by regulatory bodies.
• Assisting professionals in the delivery of commissions at all project stages.
• Preparing drawings, plans, and documents for statutory approvals.
• Liaising with other construction professionals in-house and external, including BS, QS, PM, SE, MEP Designers, etc.
• Collating and organising technical building information from Designers / Line Manager.
• Coordinating detailed design information.
• Investigating and offering technical advice on factors that affect building, including user needs, site and building surveys, and regulatory requirements.
• Preparing designs using CAD software.
• Obtaining tenders for construction work.
• Preparing specifications for construction work.

Requirements

• Willing to travel by car and / or public transport in support of day-today work.
• Aspiration and drive to work towards membership of professional body (RICS / CIAT / CIBSE).
• Ability to work under own initiative and within a team setting.
• Valid driving license.
• Good IT literacy.
• Basic CAD knowledge (full training given for our systems).
• MS 365 and Teams.
• Relevant accredited degree (anticipating minimum 2:1 for Graduate applications).
