Manager - Systems Admin

Description

The System Administrator is responsible for the effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure. This role ensures that IT systems run efficiently and securely, supporting the operational needs of the business.

• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file servers, and print services.
• Maintain documentation related to systems configurations, procedures, and operations.
• Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows/Linux) and application software.
• Maintain virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Administer enterprise tools like SCCM, WSUS, backup systems, and antivirus.
• Apply OS patches, upgrade systems and software, and perform regular maintenance.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure.

Requirements

• Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, CompTIA Server+, VMware Certified Professional).
• Bachelor’s degree in Network engineer, Computer engineer , software engineer or related field.
• 3–5 years of proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
