- Pushing/Pulling using upper extremities, daily
- Move/Transport/Install/Remove items weighing 20+ pounds, daily
- Ensure all inspections, testing, and maintenance are performed strictly in accordance with national standards, primarily NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code), as well as local codes and jurisdictional requirements.
- Direct, instruct, and mentor technicians on proper work methods, safety protocols, and NFPA standards.
- Test fire doors, fire pumps, and perform elevator recall.
- Test the smoke detectors, heat detectors, duct detectors, water flow switches, pull stations, horn/strobes, horns, bells , sirens, and back up power of commercial buildings.

- Los Angeles Chief’s Regulation 4 Certificate of Fitness (in one or more categories)
- 3+ years’ experience in fire life safety testing
- Ability to walk, bend, stoop, hear, and speak, daily.
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Hours will vary, must be able to work on-call, weekends, nights, split shifts, and rotating shifts (if needed).
- Valid California Driver License and proof of auto insurance.
- Position self to work in confined spaces, occasionally
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, under all temperature variations.
- Ability to drive for 2+ hours in a work shift/day, daily.
- Ascend/Descend and work at heights above 6ft and extreme heights, occasionally
