You will play a key role in the successful delivery of mechanical and electrical services across a diverse range of construction projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and performance at every stage.

  • Identify and manage risks associated with building services works.
  • Lead and manage the M&E design and installation process from pre-construction through to project completion.
  • Review and approve technical submittals and ensure installations meet project specifications.
  • Attend site meetings and ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage subcontractor performance and provide technical support where required.
  • Liaise with design consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure services are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate building services with structural and architectural elements.

📍 Location: St Albans (with travel across Southern UK)

My client are seeking an experienced and motivated Building Services Manager to join our growing team, based in St Albans and responsible for overseeing multiple projects across the southern region of the UK.

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services.
  • Familiar with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Relevant qualifications in building services engineering or related discipline (HNC, HND, or Degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in a similar Building Services Manager role within the construction industry.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
  • Willingness to travel across the southern UK as part of the role.
