The Concrete Finisher Foreperson leads a crew in forming, pouring, smoothing, and finishing concrete structures such as sidewalks, roads, and curbs. This hands‑on role involves using hand and power tools, inspecting completed work, and supervising laborers to ensure quality and safety.
- Build formwork per plans for flat work, curbs, ramps, retaining walls
- Layout anchor bolts, build and install templates accurately
- Bend and tie rebar cages to specifications
- Calculate concrete volumes to order material accurately
- Set concrete forms ensuring proper depth and pitch
- Use tools to pour, smooth, and level concrete
- Clean and inspect surfaces for quality
- Drive and maintain company‑provided pick‑up truck, reporting issues
- Work professionally around customers and the public
- Assist with on‑site tasks as needed

The position demands physical stamina for activities such as standing, walking, lifting, climbing, and operating equipment in all weather conditions. Workers must maintain focus, wear required personal protective equipment, and communicate clearly while adhering to safety protocols.
