Description
We are seeking a detail‑oriented, analytical Inspector Mechanical – Buildings Supervision to join our Dubai team. The role involves overseeing and inspecting building mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with local and international standards, and maintaining the highest quality and safety levels.
- Conduct thorough inspections of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems in buildings
- Verify compliance with building codes, regulations, and project specifications
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Review and approve mechanical plans and drawings
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and professionals to resolve technical issues
- Monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to project timelines
- Implement and enforce safety protocols on construction sites
- Stay updated on industry standards, new technologies, and best practices
- Participate in project meetings and provide expert mechanical advice
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Professional certification in mechanical inspection (e.g., ICC Mechanical Inspector)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical inspection or related field
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical plans, blueprints, and specifications
- Strong understanding of local and international building codes and regulations
- Experience with CAD software and project management tools
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, especially report writing
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple projects
- Familiarity with construction processes and safety protocols
- Willingness to work on‑site and travel within the Dubai area as needed
