Oversee and direct construction activities on the site, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
Identifies needs for training and communicates with the Safety Team to ensure training is completed prior to reaching the stage of work that training will be required for.
Monitor and maintain quality standards for all construction activities, materials, and workmanship.
Manage and supervise a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and other personnel.
Keep detailed records of all construction activities, changes, and project-related documentation (ex. daily reports, photos, and logs).
Monitor project budgets and expenses, ensuring that the project stays within allocated financial limits.
Regularly participate in the Owner, Architect, and Contractor meetings, and ensure Owner/Owner representatives are up to date on any changes regarding schedule, potential conflicts, RFI’s, etc.
Identify potential cost-saving measures without compromising safety, quality, and project scope.
Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during construction promptly.
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to create detailed short interval project schedules and plans to ensure timely completion of milestones.
Complete work area inspections and conduct weekly safety meetings with subcontractors and foremen.
Proactively identify potential roadblocks and work on preventive measures.
This role may occasionally require working in high, precarious places; near fumes or airborne particles; and handling toxic or caustic chemicals. There is also a risk of electrical shock and vibration in certain situations.
Develops/modifies JHA’s for the project and provides JHA training at appropriate stages of the project.
Communicates expectations, enforces policies, and completes/submits records.
Organize and coordinate resources, materials, and subcontractors to meet project milestones.
Generate regular progress reports and communicate updates to project stakeholders, including clients and management.
May be required to work on project sites both within and outside of the Boise metropolitan area, including locations such as Denver, Colorado; Las Cruces, New Mexico; or Washington, D.C. There are 3 different work schedule rotation options depending upon business needs
Provide guidance and support to the workforce to ensure efficient and safe work practices.
Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and permits required for the project.

Experience operating Fork/Boom/Scissor Lift.
High School Diploma or GED. A bachelor’s degree in construction management, or a related field, is preferred but not required.
This position requires outdoor work, with exposure to various weather conditions.
This position may require frequent travel by motor vehicle.
The ability to lift and/or move materials and tools is essential, with a maximum weight limit of 50lbs. These tasks may vary and are not required to be performed daily.
3-5 years’ Construction Superintendent experience is preferred but not required.
Experience with any of the following software is preferred, but not required:
Adherence to safety protocols and the ability to follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment guidelines, and company policies, are necessary for performing work safely and effectively
Effective and professional communication and interaction with supervisors, employees, and others, whether individually or in a team environment, are vital aspects of the role.
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
First Aid, CPR, and Respirator Training
The role may involve extended hours on construction sites, necessitating physical stamina to move around the premises.
