- Mentor junior estimators and contribute to process improvements.
- Evaluate subcontractor bids and perform scope reviews for alignment with project requirements.
- Participate in preconstruction meetings and client presentations.
- Stay informed on regional market trends, labor rates, and material costs.
- Develop detailed MEP estimates for large-scale institutional and healthcare projects.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and documentation to prepare cost breakdowns.
- Maintain and update historical cost data, unit pricing, and benchmarking tools.
- Collaborate with design teams to identify value engineering and constructability solutions.

- Proficiency with industry-standard estimating software (e.g., Trimble, Bluebeam, CostX).
- 8+ years of experience as an MEP Estimator.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to develop and manage cost plans across all project phases.
- Experience advising clients on cost strategies and market conditions.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to manage multiple estimates in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work on-site in NYC or Boston office.
