The role involves completing electrical testing in social housing properties according to a provided rota, typically checking four properties per day. A flat fee is paid for each property tested, with additional payments for any required repairs or remedials. Rewires and adaptations must be completed where needed, and work is carried out collaboratively with the site team to meet contract specifications, legislation and company guidelines.
Candidates must hold a valid ECS Card and 18th Edition certification, as well as qualification 2391 or 2394/2395 Inspection & Testing. A clean UK driving licence, access to a vehicle, and personal tools are also required. Experience in social housing and domestic property testing, together with strong prioritisation and flexibility, is essential to meet commitments and deadlines.
