Palletizer

Description

The employee will keep the palletizer stocked, build and secure pallets using pneumatic tools, wrap and brace doors according to store numbers, report any product issues, and contribute to continuous‑improvement efforts while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

• Keep palletizer stocked with empty pallets for continuous operation
• Build pallets using pneumatic staple gun and cardboard wrap
• Palletize prefinished doors onto correct pallets per store number, securing them properly
• Report product or packaging issues
• Identify process improvement opportunities
• Palletize, brace, and wrap with stretch film using automated equipment
• Follow order specifications and instructions
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and perform housekeeping duties
• Measure and count products and materials

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1–2 years of related field experience
• Knowledge of palletizing processes, door types, and pneumatic tools
• Ability to read tape measure to 1/32"
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand 8–10 hours daily
• Strong attendance, timeliness, and adherence to safety SOPs
• Ability to work independently and in a team, multitask in a fast‑paced environment
• Proficiency in English (read, write, speak)
• Ability to organize and maintain detailed records
• Willingness to work overtime when needed
