Senior User Experience Designer

Description

The designer will be responsible for shaping end‑to‑end personalized platform experiences and producing UX deliverables such as wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity designs. Working closely with product management and engineering, the designer will adhere to Autodesk’s design system, promote accessibility, and provide feedback to fellow designers. Responsibilities also include presenting design concepts, supporting user research, and creating intuitive interfaces for AI agents.

• Design and deliver seamless, personalized end‑to‑end platform experiences.
• Create UX deliverables such as wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity designs.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and cross‑functional teams throughout development.
• Adhere to and support Autodesk’s design system for consistency and scalability.

• Support user and market research from planning through analysis.

Requirements

Candidates must have at least five years of professional UX design experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to visualize solutions at various fidelity levels. Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, a solid understanding of design thinking, and expertise in accessibility best practices are required. Proficiency in designing for both desktop and mobile platforms is also essential.

Preferred qualifications include a degree in Human‑Computer Interaction or related field, problem‑solving skills that balance technical constraints and user satisfaction, and experience in agile, fast‑moving environments. Candidates should be adept at leveraging a centralized design system, have critical thinking abilities, and understand self‑service subscription journeys and admin functionalities such as order and user management. Familiarity with tools like Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and InVision, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects and use data to inform design, is valued.
